Max is a Finance Executive with over 25 years experience in the Sports Marketing, Event Management, Client Management, Models and Media Industries in Australia and Asia Pacific.
He commenced his career with KPMG in Dublin where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 having gained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin in 1983.
In 1989 he joined IMG Australia as their Financial Accountant for Australia and New Zealand. He was promoted a number of times and in 2004 he was promoted to Vice President and Finance Director IMG Asia Pacific, which included Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Korea and Thailand.
Max has been responsible for all financial aspects for numerous major sporting and cultural events, including:
Australian Masters Golf, Australian Open Golf, Coolum Classic, Sydney International Tennis, Australian Fashion Week, Melbourne Marathon, Australian Pavilion at 2005 World Expo in Japan and 2010 in Shanghai, Bathurst 1000, Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, Jesus Christ Superstar, Westside Story, Uncle Tobys Super Series, Television Production of 2006 Commonwealth Games, Tutankhamum Exhibition in Melbourne 2011.
